#M777  Six-panel calligraphy screen, very bold, unique calligraphy, by the artist Egawa Kochiku (b.1931). The work is signed "Kochiku hitsu" (from the brush of Kochiku), and one of the seals reads "Kochiku". Left kanji is mau, to dance, flutter, whirl; the right is yuki, snow. 54"h x 18" x 6 panels. Date unknown . . . $1100
