#4167   Brown and green glazed stoneware tea storage jar, with four ears around the shoulder. The lengthy etched inscription and signature on the sides is "hidden" in tall etched grass. From the Kyoto area.

           The beautiful variegated greenish glaze around the shoulders transitions to a subdued brown down over the body. Excellent condition. 10" diam x 10"h.   C.1950   $225
