#1413 Large blue and white vase, with a celestial phoenix on each side, finely detailed, wings spread, tail feathers swirling through clouds; the immortal heavenly beings with one mouth open, one closed,"ahh" and "omm", the beginning and the end.
In Asian cultures the phoenix is a symbol of high virtue and grace; originally both male and female, but recently (the last 600 years) has become a symbol of femininity.
